Dr. Dennis Corrigan joined ECD Ovonics' Ovonic Battery Company (OBC) subsidiary in 1992 after 12 years of corporate R&D activities into electrochemical power systems at General Motors Research Laboratories.
At OBC, he led the successful development of nickel-metal hydride battery systems for electric and hybrid vehicles. In 2003, he founded the Battery Systems Department of Cobasys LLC - ECD Ovonics' 50-50 joint venture with Chevron Technology Ventures LLC. In March 2004, he joined ECD Ovonics' fuel cell business unit.
Dr. Corrigan has contributed several dozen technical publications and presentations, two edited books, and 15 US patents. He holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Purdue University and a Ph.D. in Electrochemistry from the University of Wisconsin. |
