Dennis Hood joined DHR International in 1997 as Executive Vice President. As his list of national and international clients expanded, he was named Managing Director of the firm�s Milwaukee office and was also appointed a Vice Chairman of the firm. He holds a major equity position with DHR, the fifth largest executive search firm in the United States. Mr. Hood has over twenty-five years of experience in human resources, operations, and administrative positions. He has been a leader in managing change in manufacturing, distribution, and service environments and has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, interacting with boards of directors, and in designing executive compensation initiatives including leading edge shareholder value-based EVA programs. Prior to joining DHR, Mr. Hood was Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Administration at Morgan Products Ltd, a NYSE company that merged with Andersen Windows. Dennis also spent a number of years with The Trane Company (American Standard), a $4 billion manufacturer of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning equipment. Starting as Manager of College Relations, he progressed through various human resource positions ranging from responsibility for non-union employee relations to Chief Spokesman for the company's various labor negotiations. Mr. Hood received his MBA from the University of Iowa, and his BS degree from Iowa State University. He also has an ongoing and long-term affiliation with the Research Advisory Group at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. He has served as the Chairman of the Executive Committee of this group of top human resource executives representing a wide spectrum of leading national manufacturing and service companies. Mr. Hood has also served on the Human Resource Council at the law firm of Seyfarth, Shaw, Fairweather and Geraldson. An avid runner and determined golfer, Dennis works out of both DHR�s Chicago and Milwaukee offices.
