Prior to joining DHR, he served as Vice President, Sales and Marketing for Tiffany Industries and Berco Industries; both manufacturing firms in the Furniture Sector. Denny�s 23 years experience in this sector also include serving as Vice President/General Manager/Principal for a large contract furniture dealership and tenures in various management positions with other prestigious firms such as Steelcase, Inc., Haworth, Inc., and Corporate Express. Prior to his Contract Furniture experience Denny served the Retail/Consumer Products Sector for 12 years in various management positions with May Company and Hallmark Cards where he was the ninth person in company history to be inducted into the Hallmark Marketing Hall of Fame. Later, he also served as a sales executive of a Dot Com start-up purveying managed networks, application services, and e-commerce solutions to the construction industry. His diverse background includes experience in turnarounds and mergers as well as experience in multiple distribution channels. Denny holds an MBA from Fontbonne University and a BS in Business Administration from University of Missouri and is a graduate of the Executive Development Program at The Ohio State�s School of Business. A native of St. Louis, Denny has been married for thirty-eight years to his wife Dottie, an Interior Designer. They have one adult son, Keith, who is Director of Sales for a medical device company. He gives back to the community by serving on the boards/fund raising committees of four prominent St. Louis nonprofit institutions. Personal interests include carpentry projects, alpine skiing, golf, hunting & traveling. |
