Professional Experience
Prior to joining Huron Dennis was a contract Chief Financial Officer providing valued financial tax operational consulting and management services to a variety of privately held corporations limited liability companies and partnerships.
Previously he was Vice President Finance Chief Financial Officer at Berlin Metals LLC a privately held company specializing in the processing and distribution of prime metals to various manufacturing and service industries. While there he coordinated all aspects of the Company's financial management information systems human resources and administrative functions. His areas of responsibility included internal and external financial reporting finance and treasury management budgeting and strategic planning tax reporting credit and collections and employee benefits.
Dennis was also the Vice President Finance Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Controller at AM International Inc. a $1 B multinational public company specializing in the manufacture/distribution of goods and services to the graphics arts and printing industries.
In addition Dennis was a manager at Arthur Andersen LLP with a proven track record of providing valued financial consulting and operational services to a wide variety of public and nonpublic corporations and partnerships.

Coordinated all financial tax legal and valuation aspects of the tax-free reorganization that transformed Berlin Metals LLC into a limited liability company (LLC) from a "C" corporation.
Formulated Industrial Development Revenue Bond financing scenarios with various banks government municipalities and real estate developers for the acquisition of land and the design and construction of a new manufacturing facility.
Implemented innovative cash management programs that reduced accounts receivable days sales outstanding increased accounts payable days outstanding and enabled the Company to take advantage of vendor discounts generating $1.8 M of enhanced cash flows and $200 000 of additional income.
Managed the divestiture of an under performing operation while also directing the complete integration of all financial operational and administrative functions into our corporate facility.
