He is dedicated to ongoing training in key industry processes. Professional Experience Prior to BBK, Dennis advanced through a number of quality positions at DaimlerChrysler Corporation. His most recent roles was Senior Quality Manager for the Chassis and Interior commodity areas. (Chassis area had a value of business of $9 billion and Interior had a value of business of $7 billion dollars). As Senior Manager of Chassis Assembly Supplier Quality, Dennis was accountable for such commodities as fuel tanks, fuel modules and lines, exhaust systems, brakes, brake lines, steering systems, chassis module systems and fasteners. Dennis directed three quality managers and 28 quality specialists for chassis components; he was responsible for the group budget and all activities in Advance Quality Planning, Current Quality, Warranty, and Supplier Development of all Chassis, fasteners, and standard parts for Chrysler Group. His day to day responsibilities included advance and current quality, warranty improvement/reduction, assembly plant issues and supplier development. His role as Senior Quality Manager of Interior; that included commodities for all instrument panels, door trim panels, hard trim, and floor consoles for all Chrysler Group vehicles. He was accountable for Advance Quality Planning, Current Quality, Warranty, and Supplier Development.. During that time Dennis led/assisted in the development of a strategic quality improvement plan for color control of interior trim parts. (It was based on quantitative measurement procedures and helped suppliers meet quality requirements.) These efforts led to standardized measurement of color and gloss standards and eventually a corporate submission process and a craftsmanship organization. As Platform Quality Manager for minivans in the 90s, Dennis was involved in the launch of three minivan assembly plants. During that time he was also responsible for Advance Quality Planning, Current Quality, Warranty, and Program Management for all commodities. In all, he directed five quality managers, 55 quality specialists, and supplier quality staffs at three minivan assembly plants. In the early 90s he acted as Blended Purchasing Agent for Interior. That role included procurement, supply, cost savings, change management, and Advance and Current Quality management. Previous positions with DaimlerChrysler included Manager of Supplier Quality Interior, Manager of Suppler Quality BIW, Supervisor of Supplier Quality/Exterior, Quality Specialist/VQE and Tool Expeditor.
