Mr. Wilson is a partner in the Business Department. He has a varied general corporate, corporate finance and intellectual property transactional practice. Mr. Wilson has particular expertise in mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, equity financings, technology and software licensing, and product development and distributorship arrangements. He counsels numerous technology, healthcare, life science and other companies, large and small, in connection with all aspects of their corporate and intellectual property transactional needs. Representative clients include: Empire Interactive, Simpson Manufacturing, Sleep Train, Inc., STAAR Surgical, Sysmex Corporation, Walden VC, MagiNet Pte. Ltd., and Waste Connections. Mr. Wilson formerly was a partner at Morrison & Foerster.
PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES
He is admitted to practice law in both California and Washington, D.C. and is a member of the American Bar Association and Bar Association of San Francisco. He has published numerous articles and speaks frequently on legal topics relating to corporate finance, intellectual property licensing and strategic alliances.
EDUCATION
A 1982 honors graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Mr. Wilson received his J.D. degree in 1986 from Harvard Law School where he was a member of the Harvard International Law Journal. |
