Derek P. Benke is an associate in the firm's Electrical/Mechanical Practice Group focusing on patent prosecution. Before attending law school, Mr. Benke received technical experience in the circuit protection industry working as a Product Application Engineer during a summer engineering internship at Littelfuse, Inc. in Des Plaines, Illinois.
Mr. Benke received his Law degree from DePaul University College of Law. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign.
Mr. Benke is admitted to the Virginia Bar and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. |
