Born a "timeshare baby", Mr. Meyers grew up in a household whose roots in the vacation ownership industry date back to the birth of the timeshare concept. He naturally took an interest in the business from a young age. Mr. Meyers attended the University of Colorado and upon graduation from Leeds School of Business, with a Bachelor of Science in Business and a Minor in Entrepreneurship, he directly went to work full time in the industry he's known since childhood.
When he began his career at Celebrity Resorts, Mr. Meyers worked in every area of the company and developed a broad range of knowledge in all aspects of the organization. While he found many areas intriguing, he chose to focus and expand his expertise in Sales and Marketing. During his first year in this capacity, Celebrity Resorts sales volume grew more than 300 percent from the previous year. Following that sales record, Mr. Meyers was appointed as Celebrity Resorts' Chief Sales and Marketing Officer in 2005.
Mr. Meyers expects Celebrity Resorts will continue to experience tremendous growth in the coming years as the company expands its portfolio of resorts and adds additional sales locations across the nation. |
