Prior to joining July, Derek was most recently Senior Director of Business Development & Channel Team Lead at Handango, a leading provider of mobile content and applications. Derek led a cross-functional team of business development, marketing, and IT professionals and was responsible for overall strategy formulation and execution for the company�s channel business. He signed on and managed multiple customers and partners including Verizon Wireless, Cingular Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint PCS, Motorola, RIM, Nokia and Samsung Mobile. During his years in the industry Derek has built up an extensive network of operators and OEM across the Americas and Europe. He has a Bachelor�s degree from Dickinson College, Carlisle, Pennsylvania and an MBA from Texas Christian University, Fort Worth. |
