As Managing Director of MedsiteCME LLC, Dr. Sulkes is responsible for leading the company�s continuing growth in the medical education arena. Since he was appointed Managing Director in early 2005, the number of commercially-supported programs available at www.medsitecme.com has tripled, 4 full-time associate medical directors have been hired, 2 new academic sponsor relationships have been established, and new programs and services such as Editors� Roundtables, Monographs, Resource Centers and Outcomes Analyses have been rolled out. He also serves as an Associate Editor of the Alliance for CME�s monthly publication, the Almanac.
Prior to working at Medsite, Dr. Sulkes was Managing Director of Medsn. New clients brought on board during his tenure included 12 of the top 20 pharmaceutical companies and 7 of the top 10 medical device companies.
In academia, Dr. Sulkes has conducted ophthalmology, economics, and medical education research with the medical schools at Tufts University, the University of Southern California, and the University of Miami. His publications and speaking engagements include top ophthalmology and medical education settings, such as Archives of Ophthalmology, Ophthalmic Lasers and Surgery, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, and the Society of Pharmaceutical and Biotech Trainers. In addition, Dr. Sulkes has served as a consultant to organizations that include Zeiss-Humphrey Systems, The New England Medical Center Hospital, Tufts Health Plan, and Paramount Capital.
Dr. Sulkes received his BA from Dartmouth College and a joint MD and MBA, with honors, from Tufts University School of Medicine. |
