Diane Smith was promoted to Vice President, Human Resources, in September, 2006. In this role, she continues her responsibility for leading the company's worldwide human resources function and managing activities including compensation and benefits, incentive programs, employment, staffing, training, and employee relations. Mrs. Smith is also responsible for the development and management of the company's integration process for mergers and acquisitions.
Mrs. Smith joined SafeNet in July of 2004 as Manager, Human Resources Programs. In August of 2005, she was promoted to Corporate Director, Human Resources. Mrs. Smith has over 20 years of extensive experience in human resources leadership, including but not limited too; integrations related to mergers and acquisitions, management and organizational development and human resources business practices.
Prior to joining SafeNet, Mrs. Smith held various leadership roles in Human Resources with companies as CareFirst, Inc., EA Engineering, Science & Technology and PaineWebber Mortgage Finance. Mrs. Smith earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Baltimore and holds a PHR, active Human Resources Certification. |
