Dianne T. Shugrue is the vice president of operations and chief nursing officer at Ellis Hospital.
Prior to joining the staff at Ellis, Dianne served as vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer at Arden Hill Hospital and Horton Medical Center in Orange, NY. Previously, she worked for Memorial Healthcare in Worcester, MA where she held the following posts: vice president of nursing governance for medical-surgical and cancer services, director of medical-surgical, renal and psychiatric nursing services, and manager of quality improvement.
Dianne has a master's degree in nursing administration from Anna Maria College in Paxton, MA, a bachelor's degree in nursing from Fitchburg State College in Fitchburg, MA and a diploma in nursing from the Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Worcester, MA. Dianne is certified in nursing administration through the American Nurses Association and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American Organization of Nurse Executives. Dianne has been published in the Journal for Healthcare Quality, Nursing Management, Quality Update and the Journal of Shared Governance. |
