Dick McDougald is a Partner with Pinnacle Rock Associates with over 20 years experience in retail management and IT consulting. He has extensive experience in merchandising, order management and warehousing systems.
Before joining PRA, Dick held senior management positions in several specialty retail companies. At Discovery Channel Stores, Dick served Vice President of Information Technology. In this position, Dick led all IT and systems functions for this multi-channel, multi-division company. During his tenure, he implemented a new WMS, developed a customer loyalty program and led development of a new order management system
Prior to Discovery Channel Stores, Dick spent two years providing specialty retail and mail order consulting. His clients included companies such as Guess, Patagonia, Imaginarium and The North Face.
Preceding his role at Discovery, Dick served as the Vice President of the CML Group which provided order management, warehousing and distribution services for a variety of retail chains including The Nature Company, Smith & Hawken, Hear Music and Scientific Revolution. In this position, Dick managed the explosive growth of The Nature Company as they grew from 12 to 125 stores while providing shared services support for CML�s other customers. Dick received his BA in Computer Science from University of California at Berkeley. |
