Dick McGlinchey has a 20-year history of helping some of the information technology industry's fastest growing and most successful companies such as Akamai Technologies, AT&T, Forrester Research, IBM, Lotus, Morgan Stanley Ventures, Powersoft, Legent and Symbol Technology. Most recently he was a Venture Partner at Battery Ventures providing marketing and strategic counsel to Battery's investment portfolio. In addition, he was also responsible for directing all of Battery's marketing during that time.
Prior to joining Battery, Dick was President and founder of Meridian Technology Marketing, the first technology marketing firm of its kind to offer a complete range of marketing services from high-level strategy development to tactical program management. Meridian was acquired by the Omnicom Group in 1997.
In the mid-1980's, he co-founded McGlinchey & Paul, one of the most highly regarded press and analyst relations firms in the industry. While President of McGlinchey & Paul, he was one of the key marketing architects responsible for the successful launch of Lotus Notes and turnaround and repositioning of Lotus Development Corporation in the early 90's.
He has extensive international marketing experience with over 15 years of successful marketing in major European markets. A 1972 graduate of Gannon College, he holds masters degrees in Psychology from Kent State University and in Journalism from Boston University.
Dick's primary role with the Pixel Bridge Advisory Board is to assist with the firm's growth and development, leveraging his hands-on experience leading several services organizations through aggressive expansion phases.
