Thirty-eight years of progressive and diversified experience in Small business ownership, Sales and Marketing / Business Development, Systems Design, Sales Management, Executive and Operations. Dick currently owns a SDVOSB consulting practice, providing federal business development services to emerging Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDB) and businesses in the SBA (8a) Program. Dick is a former Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of a national systems integrator start-up responsible for all aspects of business development, marketing and Operations. Dick served in a similar capacity for a regional computer manufacturer, marketing to fortune 500 companies. He developed initial marketing strategy to federal prime contractors and Federal, State and Local government resulting in substantial increase in revenue. Dick holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Lamar Tech., an MBA from Virginia, and had 13 years of active service in the U.S. Army as an infantry soldier & pilot during the Vietnam conflict. |
