Dick Taylor has been in the Prestressed/ Precast Industry since 1973. He began his selling career with Plant City Steel Co. and traveled the Eastern part of the country for them. During that time he helped the customer design forms to produce all manner of products. In 1980 he went to work for Florida Wire and Cable Co. selling steel PC strand. During his years with FWC he traveled the Southeast until he became product manager of the strand chuck and jack line that he helped get started when Supreme Chucks were going under. In his last days with FWC he was the sole sales person for their galvanized wire and strand products. He left FWC to come to Strand-Tech Martin, Inc. in 1999 and has been selling mainly in the Eastern half of the USA. His knowledge of prestressing operations gives him the ability to assist the customer to find solutions for strand use and problems. During his years in the industry he has served as a director for The Georgia/Carolinas PCI and Gulf South Prestressed Associations. He has served on the PCI Communications and Marketing Committees. In 2006 he was knighted into the Concrete Chef s who produce the annual dinner at JVI for the participants of PCI Committee Days. |
