Dilma Vana Rousseff has been the chairman of the Board of Directors since January 3 2003.
She was the State Minister of Mines and Energy from January 1st 2003 to June 16 2005, when se was appointed the Head Minister of the Civil Cabinet.
She served as the State Energy, Mines, and Communications Secretary for the State of Rio Grande Sul from 1993 to 1994 and from 1999 to 2002; President of the State of Rio Grande do Sul Economics and Statistics Foundation from 1991 to 1993; and Treasury Secretary of the city of Porto Alegre from 1986 to 1988.
Dilma was also the Coordinator of the Government Transition Team�s Infrastructure Group, created to facilitate the transference of power to the current administration.
Dilma Rousseff graduated in Economics from the Rio Grande do Sul Federal University in 1977; she holds a Master�s Degree in Economic Theory (1979), and is currently taking her Doctorate in Monetary and Financial Economy at the Campinas State University. |
