Mr. Allen has been in the executive search industry for 30 years beginning his career as a recruiter with Stewart/Laurence Associates. He was responsible for business expansion in the Metro NY region for 13 years specializing in the placement of executives in the telecommunications, computer, word processing, graphic arts and office automation industries. In 1982, Mr. Allen founded D.S. Allen Associates specializing in the high tech and communications industries. The focus of Mr. Allen's work was the design and development of internal global recruiting organizations for his clients and the recruitment of senior level executives including the positions of President, Senior Partner, Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. D.S. Allen Associates' scope has expanded to include searches on a national and international basis for Fortune 1000 clients, Management Consulting firms and Venture Capital organizations'"start-ups."
