Don DelNegro enters his 14th season as the team's athletic trainer. Prior to joining the Bruins, he served for five years as the Director of Sports Medicine at Williams College in Williams-town, MA. He has also served as the head athletic trainer for the U.S. Olympic Bobsled and Luge teams at the 1992 Olympic Games in Albertville, France; for Team USA at the 2000 and 2005 World Hockey Championships and as head trainer for the U.S. men's hockey team at the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin, Italy. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from Westfield State College and a Master of Science degree in the same field from Indiana State University. DelNegro and his wife Claire reside in Lynnfield with their daughter, Renee. |
