Don Hall knows the industry and he knows its people; factors that are so important in a business that is constantly changing.
A consultant to the banking industry since 1981, his prior experience includes 22 years as a banker. During this period, he was employed 12 years by the former Worcester County National Bank and 10 years with Consumers Savings Bank (now Bank of America).
A key member of the team that introduced the popular NOW Account to the banking industry, he has been recognized by best-selling author Martin Mayer in his book entitled, The Bankers. A pioneer in Bank Data Processing, he co-authored a textbook entitled, Fundamentals of Bank Data Processing that has been used by the American Institute of Banking in educating bank personnel throughout the country.
He designed and taught the first course offered by the American Institute of Banking on the subject of data processing, and spoken before banking groups throughout the country and internationally on the subject of ATMs.
Active within the industry, he served as a Director of Safety Fund National Bank and its holding company, Family Bank. He also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Lenders, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Safety Fund National Bank, and was an Advisory Director of Consumers Savings Bank and Bank of New England.
A graduate of Clark University, he has served as an instructor at that school's Graduate School of Management. |
