Don Herzog, Director of Engineering, has extensive project management skills and expertise in diagnostic ultrasound, medical information systems, image management, recording, image processing, image printers, laser systems and electro-optics. He recently led the development of the first real-time, 4D Doppler-based diagnostic system for vascular application. This technology has been acquired by a West Coast company, where it is being used to develop a method for the non-invasive measurement of intracranial pressure. This company is a multi-billion dollar medical device company. Herzog was the individual at RCA responsible for inventing the optical recording and laser diodes as used in today�s CD�s and DVD�s, which was one of RCA�s most profitable patents.
