As Executive Vice-President, Operations and Engineering, Don Wishart is responsible for the full range of services required to design, build, operate and maintain all facilities and infrastructure at TransCanada. These responsibilities include engineering and technical services; field operations; community, safety and environment; and procurement and shared services. Mr. Wishart has more than 25 years of pipeline experience in the areas of project construction management, environmental services, pipeline operations and business development in both international and North American settings. Formerly the Senior Vice-President of Field Operations, Mr. Wishart has been accountable for the safe, efficient and reliable operation of TransCanada�s extensive natural gas pipeline systems and growing portfolio of electrical power generation facilities for the last three years. He joined TransCanada International in the spring of 1997 and held the
position of Senior Vice-President, Project Development. Prior to spring of 1997, Mr. Wishart held the position of Vice-President, Development with IPL Energy Inc. (now Enbridge Inc.). Mr. Wishart holds Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Alberta.
