Donald Hammett focuses on the formation and financing of pass-through entities and real estate investment trusts (REITs). He has substantial experience in mergers and acquisitions involving REITs, as well as partnerships, limited liability companies, and other pass-through entities. He also has extensive experience in the formation of UpREITs and DownREITs and other similar entities. Mr. Hammett's clients include publicly traded REITs, as well as national and regional developers and other companies that finance, own, manage and develop real estate assets.
