Donald L. Chapman serves as Chief Executive Officer for Tug Investment Corporation, a printing and wireless technology company. Previously, he was the Founder & CEO of Tug Manufacturing Corporation an Airline Vehicle Manufacturer. Mr. Chapman was also Founder & CEO of Opti-World an Optical Superstore Chain; Chairman of North x Northwest an Office & Industrial Park Developer and Chairman of the TM Snack Group a three company group of Snack Food Manufacturers. Mr. Chapman serves on a number of corporate boards and is active in numerous civic activities. Board affiliations include RARE Hospitality, Inc. McKenney's, Inc, AirTran, Inc, Rooker & Associates, and Palmer & Cay. Civic activities include Founding Elder of ChristChurch, Board member Metro Business Forum; Chairman of Board for Junior Achievement of Georgia and The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, Inc. Mr. Chapman also presently serves as the Vice Chair of the Georgia Tech Foundation; is Chairman of the Georgia Technology DuPree College of Management Advisory Board; Board member of Georgia's Department of adult and technical education and is Chair of the Tech High Foundation which is creating Georgia's first technology charter High School. Mr. Chapman has long been a strong supporter of the Atlanta Zoo and has served as a board member. Over the years Don Chapman has been awarded the Georgia Tech Outstanding Alumnus Award, George Griffin Community Service Award, Atlanta Chamber of Commerce Phoenix Award and the Business Atlanta's Entrepreneur of the Year Awards. Mr. Chapman is a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology (BSIM) and graduate studies at Rollins College and Georgia State University. |
