Donald L. McWhorter has been a director of the Company since February 1997, and a director of Nationwide Life Insurance Company and Nationwide Life and Annuity Insurance Company since May 2002. Mr. McWhorter retired from Banc One Corporation, an investment banking and financial services institution, in April 1995 after serving as President and Chief Operating Officer since April 1992. Previously, he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Banc One Ohio Corporation from July 1989 to April 1992. Prior to that time, Mr. McWhorter held other positions with Banc One. |
