Donald R. Dancer is International Rectifier's Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer. In this role Mr. Dancer oversees IR's legal, human resources, compliance, mergers and acquisitions and investor relations functions.
Mr. Dancer most recently served as acting Chief Executive Officer since late August 2007. He joined International Rectifier in 2002 and was previously Executive Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel.
During 22 years of corporate practice before joining The Company, Mr. Dancer managed legal affairs for a number of divisions and affiliates of the General Electric Company throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. In addition to his extensive international experience, he has considerable expertise in structuring acquisitions, joint ventures and complex alliance and technology agreements.
Mr. Dancer is a graduate of the University of Virginia and DePaul University College of Law.
