Donald R. Kimble joined Huntington as executive vice president and finance director in June of 2004 and was appointed CFO and controller in August of 2004. His current responsibilities include accounting, tax, financial planning & analysis, investor relations, treasury and mergers and acquisitions. Previously Kimble served as executive vice president of finance and controller for AmSouth Bank, a $50 billion bank holding company in Birmingham, Alabama from 2000 to 2004. Prior to AmSouth, Kimble was with Bank One for 13 years serving in a number of financial, accounting, and merger and acquisition managerial positions. A graduate of The Ohio State University, he began his career as an auditor with Ernst & Whinney.
