Donald W. Michlin joined the practice as a partner in mid 2005. Mr. Michlin has over 15 years of experience in the retail/ institutional sales broker dealer sector having held various positions including Branch Manager and Mr. Michlin was a top producing broker through out his career. In addition, he has worked with several private and public enterprise software companies, assisting his employers with various types of financing as well as assisting them in executing their growth plans. Mr. Michlin has also spent time working on a sell-side, research based institutional trading desk.
Mr. Michlin has been involved in raising capital for several start-ups in multiple industry segments including technology, healthcare, biotechnology as well as the oil and gas industries. Mr. Michlin has also successfully excelled with several early stage software companies in Houston that have gone through the initial public offering process. His various positions included Inside Sales Manager and Federal Territory Manager.
Mr. Michlin graduated from Ithaca College with a B.S. in Business management. Mr. Michlin also excelled athletically and was Co-Captain of the 1984 Men�s Lacrosse Team. He is married with one daughter and resides in The Woodlands, Texas. He has strong interests in fitness, family and friendships. |
