M-I SWACO President & Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining Smith International in 1989 as Regional Vice President - Europe & Africa, Don served as president of Dailey Petroleum Services Corp. He became Senior Vice President - Eastern Hemisphere at M-I SWACO in 1994 and was appointed Vice President - Partner Relations in 2005. In May 2006, he succeeded Loren Carroll as President & Chief Executive Officer of M-I SWACO. Don is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the International Association of Drilling Contractors. He is a director of the Petroleum Equipment Suppliers Association and Spindletop International. Don graduated in marketing administration from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and also attended Mount Royal College in Calgary. |
