Donald Vish provides substantial capacity to Middleton Reutlinger�s energy, mineral and regulatory practice. For twenty-five years, he has represented clients in a wide range of legal and business issues arising out of the ownership, development, regulation, sale and use of coal, oil and gas.He was appointed Associate Solicitor, the United States Department of the Interior, Washington, D.C. in the administration of President George H. W. Bush. For ten years he served as co-editor and contributing author to the five volume Matthew Bender treatise �Coal Law and Regulation.�He is a contributor to The American Law of Mining and was an adjunct associate professor of energy and mineral law at the University Of Kentucky College Of Law (1977-1984). He is a founding trustee of the Energy and Mineral Law Foundation and an elected member of the American Law Institute.Mr. Vish is a member of the Kentucky and Florida Bars. He is also a Life member of the American Bar Foundation (District of Columbia chapter). |
