Donna Peeples brings more than 20 years of energy and related industry experience to the AGL Resources team. A master at uncovering a customer�s underlying business needs and determining what communications can do about them, Peeples has worked for Atlanta Gas Light, Optimum Energy Sources, Peachtree Natural Gas, Shell Energy, and Lennox Industries. Peeples also founded Motivated, Inc. a contract sales and sales training company in 1996.
Leading the marketing and sales units for AGL Resources, Peeples oversees a comprehensive and integrated marketing, sales and fulfillment strategy encompassing all market segments and customer touch points in all utility franchises. She also guides launch and introduction of marquee brands into new markets. She coordinates brand and product development, strategic growth and communications strategy. Peeples' focus is on blending business strategy with creativity touching the heart and moving the mind resulting in true paradigm shifts, sustainable change and the achievement of overall business objectives.
Throughout her career, Peeples has worked to define business objectives and articulate the corporate vision throughout the organization. She serves in key roles and is a frequent speaker at industry associations such as the Southern Gas Association, Advertising and Marketing Executive Board, and the Energy Solutions Center Board. Recent career highpoints for Peeples include serving on the management team responsible for the successful integration of a recent AGL Resources acquisition, the NUI Corporation and its three utility subsidiaries. Other recent highlights include Southern Gas Association�s Marketing Best Practices Awards in 2004 and 2005, a 2005 Show South Advertising Award, and a 2005 Telly Award. She recently oversaw an advertising campaign that was honored with a 2005 Emmy Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Southeast Chapter.
Peeples earned a degree in Management from Troy University and serves on the Board of HomeAid Atlanta and is active in Habitat for Humanity, the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, and Project Open Hand. She resides in Gwinnett County with husband, William, daughters Dawn and Darla, and dog, Rockefeller. |
