Practice Emphasis Civil Litigation in State and Federal Courts Professional Experience Doreen Spears Hartwell is a shareholder in the Litigation Department at Lionel Sawyer & Collins. Her areas of practice include commercial litigation, employment, real estate, product liability, and trust/probate matters. Ms. Hartwell received her B.A. in English with a minor in Spanish from Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut. After graduation from Fairfield, she worked in advertising sales for the Sacramento Bee for seven years before deciding upon a career in law. Ms. Hartwell is the 2001 recipient of the Myrna Williams Children's Pro Bono Award, and the 2005 Recipient of the Judge Sally Loehrer Pro Bono Service Award. She is also actively involved in the Clark County Bar Association's Trial By Peers Program.
