Dori D. Nagar is a senior accounting professional who has frequently been engaged to conduct forensic financial investigations on behalf of boards of directors, audit committees, government-appointed receivers and others. Dori has headed or co-headed Goldin�s investigations of financial and accounting issues at Wood River Capital Management (hedge fund manager), Metromedia Fiber Network (fiber optic network infrastructure services) and IMPATH (healthcare services). Also at Goldin, Dori advised a large insurance company in connection with its exposure to credit risk guarantees on certain loan portfolios and advised the board of the Securities Industry Protection Corporation (SIPC) in connection with an internal investigation. Prior to joining Goldin, Dori was a partner at a big four accounting firm, where for over 25 years he provided advisory, accounting and audit services concentrating on the financial services industry, including banks, broker/dealers and investment funds. His assignments in the financial services industry covered such matters as integrated risk management processes, financial instrument risk assessment and hedging strategies, internal control and governance, internal/external audit, capital market investigations and litigation support services. Dori is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of CPAs, New York State Society of CPAs and Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He graduated from Baruch College in New York with a B.B.A. degree in Accounting (with honors). |
