Doug Caines is the Vice President of National Accounts for CIO Partners of Atlanta, Inc., a technology services company that specializes in executive retained, contract, permanent hire, and project services for Fortune 1000 organizations. Doug began his career in the IT staffing industry in 1997 as a sales associate for Vistech/IMI Systems, based in Washington, DC. The company soon relocated him to the Atlanta office. Since that time, he has held sales positions with a variety of IT companies in the Atlanta area, including BDM/TRW, Ablest Technology Services, UPS, La Vista Resources, and Advecta. With almost a decade of experience working with companies of every size in both sales management and recruiting, Doug has developed a unique perspective regarding effective business practices in the industry. Since he joined CIO Partners in 2002 as a senior account manager, Doug has developed and managed significant relationships with local and national clients, earned "salesman of the year" accolades four years in a row, and won the company's MVP award twice. In December 2005, he was appointed Practice Leader for CIO Partners' Retail, Restaurant, and Hospitality sector, reinforcing the company's strong client base in this industry. Today, Doug is responsible for all aspects of new business development, national account management, and strategic sales planning. Doug enjoys spending time with his wife Julie, daughter Alexis, and son Riley. He also enjoys traveling, snow skiing, scuba diving, golfing, and watching sports, especially the Redskins. Doug gives back to his community in many ways, but he spends most of his volunteer hours as a volunteer firefighter in Alpharetta. |
