Doug was previously with Volume Services America, now doing business as Centerplate, for more than 26 years and held various high-level management positions in the Sports and Recreational Division, including General Manager, Director of Operations, Vice President, Senior Vice President, and Executive Vice President. He was responsible for over 88 operations throughout the United States and Canada with sales in excess of $400 million.
Doug offers extensive industry expertise in the areas of concessions, catering, and merchandise at sports, convention and entertainment venues as he was directly involved in all aspects of operations, including sales and contract negotiations, budgeting, and concept development.
Doug successfully planned and implemented the operations for the Super Bowl in Tampa in 1991 and 1994 and was involved with the Super Bowl in New Orleans in 2002. He was responsible for the account openings at Jacksonville, Florida, home of the NFL Jaguars; Nashville, Tennessee, home of the NFL Titans; and Tropicana Field, home of the MLB Tampa Bay Devil Rays; along with numerous other arena, amphitheater and convention center. |
