Doug is responsible for NeoScale�s product development team and brings over 20 years of engineering management experience in storage technologies. Prior to NeoScale, Doug was EVP of Engineering at Candera where he is credited with bringing to market the industry's first high availability storage virtualization and provisioning SAN controller. Prior to Candera, Doug held executive positions at Blue Pumpkin Software, a leading workforce optimization software firm, and Adaptec, a leading provider of storage and I/O solutions. At Adaptec, Doug led the SCSI engineering group which successfully developed and shipped three generations of industry leading products. Doug later assumed responsibility for all engineering at Adaptec, where he held technical leadership responsibility for 650 engineers across six business units. Before his tenure at Adaptec, Doug spent over 15 years at Digital Equipment Corporation in various engineering management positions including Director of PC Software Development. Doug holds a BS in Mathematics, Physical Sciences & Engineering from the University of Maryland
