Doug Martin joined AgileDelta in December 2005. He spent sixteen years at Microsoft Corporation in a variety of roles, including leading the early stages of Microsoft�s worldwide education sales and marketing group. Doug helped develop the concept and launched Microsoft�s line of Academic Edition software, created the company�s Authorized Education Reseller program, and oversaw the growth of Microsoft�s Education business from $5 million to over $100 million. He also initiated and led the company�s focus on small and mid-size business customers, and developed sales and marketing strategies for a variety of vertical and horizontal market segments. Doug has consulted a number of startups on business strategy, target markets, and product positioning, including DataConcert, a provider of software that linked large enterprises with the small and mid-size businesses in their supply chain. He currently serves as a director on the boards of several non-profit organizations in the Seattle area. Doug has a BA degree from the University of Washington and a Master of Management degree from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University. |
