A co-founder of CBS Collegiate Sports Properties, Doug has more than 25 years of experience in the industry and has been directly involved with more than 30 major collegiate and professional projects throughout his career. Prior to his relationship with CBS, Doug was a principal partner at Premier Sports Marketing, where he was instrumental in marketing new facilities including the San Jose Arena, the Georgia Dome in Atlanta and Papa John�s Cardinal Stadium at the University of Louisville. Before Doug joined Premier, he was vice president of sales for American Sign & Indicator, selling scoreboards and advertising throughout the Doug�s knowledge of the sports marketing industry is enhanced by his experience on the playing field. He�s currently the 14th career rushing leader at the University of North Carolina where he lettered in both football and track and graduated with a degree in business administration. He was a 5th-round draft pick for the Minnesota Vikings, where he played for two years before suffering a knee injuryDoug manages operations of the CBS Collegiate Sports Properties team from his headquarters in Charlotte, NC, where he resides with his wife, Jeanne, and three sons. |
