Doug comes to us from the hallowed grounds of Fenway Park, New England Clam Chowda and the Black and Gold Majesty of the Bruins; where his whirlwind migration from the East to the West, planted him onto our front door like a swaddled child. (Minus the blankets, the golden rays of sunlight and that whole "Chosen One" ideology of course). Bright-eyed, eager and vibrant; Doug has taken a firm root within our technical support, training, and litigation consulting departments. (All of course, in his spare time to listen to Dans war stories, Stephens opinions concerning the future of music on the Internet and bickering with Mike about the Red Sox Yankees Rivalry. (Wild guess on which side of the fence our Beantown Boy sits upon.) Doug has been coined the "resident" hippie of the company, much to the chagrin of Dan and Carp, who still don't understand that there is other music besides Pink Floyd and Abba. Like Carp and his affection with "The Wall", the musical strains of Phish and The Grateful Dead can be heard, emanating from his cubicle on a daily basis, we think as a sort of therapy from the daily deluge of support calls and from his fellow co-workers. All and all even with his pseudo-hippie tendencies and opinions, Verdict Systems is extremely pleased to have Doug on our team...Just dont ask him who won the World Series this year youll get nothing back but a sheepish smile, a magical glint in his eyes, and bear witness to small tears trickling down his cheeks as he glances into the distance and says The Boston Red Sox. |
