Doug Smoot: Sponsor Coordinator / Talent Relations Born and raised in the Midwest, Doug attended the University of Kansas, where he majored in Radio Television and Film. From there, he spent two years in Kansas City, then made the move to Los Angeles to pursue his goal of a career in the entertainment field. After several years of working in television production, Doug joined the Zaring-Cioffi team (the first time) in 1996 for the annual Richard Karn StarDays event. Following a return to production, Doug gradually made the transition to post-production and spent several years as an account executive for the Hollywood and Santa Monica Lightning Dubbs Video Duplication and Editing facilities. In 2004, Doug once again found himself at Zaring-Cioffi Entertainment, and has been part of the team ever since, coordinating sponsor requirements and helping to manage the participating celebrities' event experience. |
