Current responsibility
Doug is a principal in Milliman's Dallas office. With more than 15 years experience in the employee benefits industry, he is also the senior benefits consultant for the Defined Contribution Administration group, a position that encompasses managerial and consulting responsibilities. As senior benefits consultant, Doug serves as coordinator for the Dallas office's defined contribution consultants. He also collaborates with the other Milliman offices to ensure consistent client satisfaction across the country. Doug joined the firm in 1994.
In addition, Doug is an engagement manager providing service to clients who maintain defined contribution plans, nonqualified arrangements, and pension plans. Along with his relationship management responsibilities, he is a defined contribution consultant assisting clients with plan design, implementation, communication, compliance, and operational processing effectiveness.
Experience
Doug has worked in the pension industry for his entire professional career, starting as a youth in his father's pension firm. This extensive background enhances his ability to effectively assist clients with every aspect of their retirement programs.
