Doug Milroy is a proven leader with a strong track record for driving execution that delivers increased profitability and growth. He has a broad business background with more than 20 years of global leadership experience in business to business organizations. Milroy is responsible for managing G&K�s direct purchase business and the company�s business development initiatives. He also leads the company�s Cleanroom group, an innovative business unit that offers highly specialized services and contamination-free products to customers in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, microelectronic and automotive industries.
Milroy was most recently managing director of The Milroy Group, a firm focused on the acquisition and management of industrial companies in partnership with other investors. Prior to that, Milroy was vice president and general manager at Ecolab Inc., a $4.8 billion worldwide provider of products and services to the hospitality, foodservice, healthcare, and industrial markets. In this role, he had responsibility for all aspects of the Food and Beverage North America division and Water Care division including improving profitability, implementing growth strategies, increasing customer retention, and creating new technology platforms. Prior to Ecolab, he was managing director for the Process Additives division of FMC Corporation, a $2.3 billion worldwide chemical company, and Chairman of FMC UK Ltd., and had worldwide responsibility for all business functions. Milroy was also with McKinsey & Company, where he worked with senior management of industrial companies in North America and Europe to define profitable growth strategies and organizational plans.
Milroy earned a bachelor�s degree from the University of Minnesota and his M.B.A. from The Harvard Business School. He is also active in the community, especially supporting inner-city education, and serves as a board member for JSJ Corporation, a private diversified manufacturing company. |
