As general counsel, Doug Scrivner has ultimate responsibility for all legal support to Accenture, serving as principal counsel to senior leadership and the board of directors and leading the company's Legal & Commercial business practice. He also serves as corporate secretary and compliance officer and is a member of Accenture's Executive Leadership Team. Mr. Scrivner also oversees the company's government relations function.
Mr. Scrivner was appointed general counsel in 1996. From 1990 to 1996, he served as associate general counsel, with primary responsibility for Accenture matters. He joined Accenture in 1980 in the role of counsel and became a partner in 1986. Prior to joining Accenture, he was associated with Oppenheimer, Wolff & Donnelly in Minneapolis, Minnesota. |
