BACKGROUND: Doug was born in Coral Gables, Florida on April 15, 1975. He graduated from Ransom Everglades School in 1993. He received his undergraduate degree in Finance from Southern Methodist University in 1997 and his law degree from the University of Miami in 2000. Prior to joining GrayRobinson, Doug worked in civil litigation for seven years, with a primary focus on insurance defense, medical malpractice and health care law. Doug is a civil trial lawyer, concentrating his practice on the representation of health care providers in medical malpractice matters, general liability defense litigation, and construction law. He also handles a significant amount of first party and third party claims on behalf of insurance company clients throughout the State of Florida.
