As senior vice president of sales for the consumer products sales division and vice president of Hormel Foods, Douglas R. Reetz oversees the sales functions for the high focus teams.
Reetz began his career with Hormel Foods in 1977 in San Jose, Calif. as a sales merchandiser. He held increasing sales responsibility in San Francisco and Los Angeles. He later was district manager in Salt Lake City, Utah and Phoenix, Ariz. before assuming the position of regional manager of the Eastern region for the grocery products division in 1988.
In 1991, he relocated to the corporate office in Austin, Minn., assuming the position of national manager of trade marketing and was promoted to director of sales of the grocery products division in 1992. In 1999, he was named vice president of sales in the grocery products division and assumed his current position in July 2004.
Reetz is a native of Appleton, Wis. and a graduate of Arizona State University, where he received a bachelor�s degree in marketing. |
