Doug Hellman joined KemperSports in 2005 as director of business development and oversees growth opportunities in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast. Mr. Hellman's career in the golf industry, ranging from business development and project management to design and construction, spans more than 17 years. During this tenure, he was involved in the design and development of more than 60 public and private sector golf projects. Prior to joining KemperSports, he served as vice president for Schreiner Golf, Inc., a company noted for design and renovation of public, private and resort golf courses. Before that, Mr. Hellman served as director of business development for Jacobson Golf Course Design and Dick Nugent Associates, a pair of Illinois-based golf course design firms. He earned Masters degrees in Regional Planning and Landscape Architecture from the University of Massachusetts and is a licensed Landscape Architect in Illinois and Kansas. |
