As founder of our Directors and Officers Liability team at Woodruff-Sawyer, Doug led this group to become the number one provider of D&O coverage for technology companies in the U.S. for seven years consecutively (Tillinghast-Towers Perrin survey). Woodruff-Sawyer continues to be ranked among the top brokers in this category. Doug has been with Woodruff-Sawyer for 40 years and has been instrumental in shaping our company direction and growth. As Chairman of the Board, he oversees business development activities and drives the company vision and marketing. Doug also serves as a senior D&O consultant to national and multinational publicly traded companies. He specializes in client counseling, claims resolution and strategic program development and analysis. Doug is a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and was an arbitrator in Dell vs. Home. He has been a key speaker at the Wyatt Symposium, PLUS and San Francisco Treasurers Foundation. Doug is a graduate of Oregon State University and is a guest lecturer for the University of Oregon s School of Business. |
