Douglas Reed, M.D., has been a director since August 2000. He is a Managing Director of Vector Fund Management. Previously, he gained eight years of venture investment experience with the firm S.R. One, Limited, a $150 million fund focused on investments in biopharmaceuticals and the life sciences. He has held senior management positions in corporate development at two biopharmaceutical firms, NPS Pharmaceuticals and GelTex Pharmaceuticals. He received his B.A. in biology and his M.D. from the University of Missouri and his M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is Board Certified as a neuro-radiologist and has held positions on the faculty at the University of Washington and at Yale University in the Department of Radiology. |
