Description of Practice:
Drew Emmel is a partner in the firm's Orange County office. His practice involves all aspects of real estate including acquisitions and dispositions, development and leasing of industrial, office and retail projects. Because Mr. Emmel has experience in real estate finance, corporate and tax law, he has a strong background for advising clients involved in complex transactions. Prior to joining the firm in 1997, Mr. Emmel practiced law in Chicago, Illinois.
Educational History:
A member of the Urban Land Institute, Mr. Emmel is also a member of the Orange County Bar Association, the State Bar of California, the State Bar of Illinois and the American Bar Association. He received his B.S. in business administration-finance, magna cum laude, in 1987 and his J.D. from Georgetown University in 1990. During law school he served as an Executive Editor of the Tax Lawyer. |
