Dr. Engles' practice at the Summit Hand Center of the Crystal Clinic, Inc. in Akron, OH is limited to surgery of the upper extremity and reconstructive microvascular surgery. He is also an attending physician at Summa Health System, Akron General Medical Center, Medina General Hospital and Children's Hospital Medical Center of Akron. A Harvard University A.B. cum laude and student athlete, Dr. Engles obtained his M.D. in 1991 at the Indiana University School of Medicine. After the completion of a five - year residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the Akron General Medical Center, he went on to a Fellowship in Hand and Microvascular Surgery at the Indiana Hand Center. During his residency, Dr. Engles was invited to Edinburgh Scotland as a Visiting Resident at the Royal Infirmary of Ediburgh and Princess Margaret Rose Orthopedic Hospital. |
